Fare Settings :

The Fare Settings section allows administrators to define and manage various fare components for services offered by the platform. Here’s what each setting is likely to control:

  • Base Fare: The starting cost for a trip. Admins can input the minimum fare that will be charged regardless of the distance or time.
  • Distance Allowed in Base Fare: This specifies the distance that is covered by the base fare before additional charges apply.
  • Time Allowed in Base Fare: Here, admins set the amount of time that is included in the base fare.
  • Distance-Wise Price Per Unit: Determines the fare per unit of distance beyond the base fare allowance.
  • Waiting Fee Per Minute: If a passenger makes the driver wait, this fee applies for each minute of waiting time.
  • Allowed Hours For Reserve Min. Charges: Sets the time frame for which the base fare covers without incurring additional minimum charges.
  • Extra Luggage Charges: Additional costs for passengers carrying luggage beyond a specified allowance.
  • Cancellation fee: A fee applied to a passenger for canceling a trip.
  • Surge Price: Additional charges are applied during periods of high demand.
  • Tips: Allows passengers to add a tip to their fare, which can be entered as a set amount or a percentage.
  • Tax: Any applicable taxes that should be added to the fare.
  • Discount Amount: If there are any promotions or discounts, they can be subtracted from the total fare here.
  • Total fare: Reflects the complete fare after all the above calculations.

Each field includes a space to enter a numerical value, with some allowing administrators to specify the unit of measure (like time in minutes or distance in kilometers).
