Vehicle Types Section

This allows users to manage the different categories of vehicles within the system. Here are the details displayed for each vehicle type:

  • Vehicle Type: The category of vehicle.

  • No. of Vehicles: The total number of vehicles in the fleet that belong to that particular category.

  • Fuel Type: The primary fuel source that powers vehicles in this category.

  • Transmission Type: The type of transmission system used in most vehicles of this category.

  • No. of People: The typical passenger capacity of vehicles in this category.

  • Fare Structure: How fares are calculated for this category.

  • Status: The current operational status of this category.



       Add Vehicle Type

        This involves specifying details about a category of vehicles, including:

  • Profile Picture: Option to add an image for the vehicle type.

  • Title (Vehicle Type): Mandatory field for the vehicle's category.

  • No. of People, Bags, Transmission Type, Fuel Type, Mileage: Specifications of the vehicle type.

  • Description: Additional notes or description.

  • Status: Current status of the vehicle type (active or inactive).



  The process concludes with a save button, and a cancel option is available.



Detailed View of Vehicle Type

          The vehicle details section provides information about each vehicle within the transportation management system. This                 allows         users to view and manage the vehicle fleet. Here are the details displayed for each vehicle:

  • Registration Number: Unique identifier for the vehicle.
  • Vehicle Type: Category of vehicle 
  • Icon/Image: An image representing the vehicle type.
  • Seats: Number of passenger seats available in the vehicle.
  • Transmission: Type of transmission system 
  • Mileage: Average fuel efficiency of the vehicle 
  • Fuel Type: Primary fuel source that powers the vehicle 
  • Status: The current operational status of the vehicle


Vehicle Fare Information

         This section outlines the various components used to calculate the total cost of a trip.

  • Base Fare: The starting fare for the trip.

  • Time Allowed in Base Fare: The amount of time included in the base fare.

  • Waiting Fee Per Minute: The charge applied for each minute of waiting time beyond the included time in the base fare.

  • Reserve Vehicle Minimum Charge: The minimum fee for reserving a vehicle in advance.

  • Reserve Vehicle Charge Per Hour: The hourly fee for reserving a vehicle.

  • Daily Allowance: Any additional charges associated with daily rentals.

  • Surge Price: Extra charges are applied during periods of high demand.

  • Tax: Taxes levied on the trip fare (May apply, an amount not specified).

  • Discount Amount: Possible discounts applied to the trip fare.

  • Distance Allowed in Base Fare: The distance covered within the base fare.

  • Distance-wise Price Per Unit: The charge applied for every additional kilometer beyond the base fare distance.

  • Fixed Fare: A flat rate for a trip, regardless of distance or time.

  • Extra Luggage Charges: Additional fees for carrying extra luggage.

  • Tips: Gratuity for the driver.

  • Toll Fee: Charges for using toll roads during the trip.

  • Total Fare: The final cost of the trip.

 

        

    Edit Vehicle

The edit vehicle function allows users to modify the details of a particular vehicle within the fleet. Here’s a breakdown of the information displayed and editable in the edit vehicle section:

  • Vehicle Type: This section allows users to select the vehicle category.

  • Profile Picture: Here, users can upload an image to visually represent the vehicle type.

  • Vehicle Information

    1. Title: This field allows users to assign a descriptive name to the vehicle.

    2. No. of People: This section specifies the passenger capacity of the vehicle.

    3. No. of Bags: This section allows users to specify the number of bags or suitcases that can comfortably fit in the vehicle's trunk.

    4. Transmission Type: Users can select the vehicle's transmission type.

    5. Fuel Type: This section allows users to specify the vehicle's primary fuel source.

    6. Description: Here, users can provide a brief description of the vehicle.

    7. Status: This section allows users to set the operational status of the vehicle.
