Vehicles Section

This section provides a list of all the vehicles available in the transportation management system. It allows users to view details and manage the vehicle fleet. Here are the details displayed for each vehicle:

  • Reg. No.: Registration number of the vehicle.
  • Vehicle Type: Type of vehicle.
  • Seats: Number of passenger seats in the vehicle.
  • Brand: Brand of the vehicle.
  • Model: Model of the vehicle.
  • Status: The current status of the vehicle.




Add Vehicle

The process of adding a vehicle involves filling out a form divided into four main parts:


General Vehicle Information

  • VIN/SN (Vehicle Identification Number/Serial Number): A mandatory unique identifier for the vehicle.

  • Vehicle Images: Option to upload vehicle images for documentation.

  • Vehicle Type: Mandatory field to specify the vehicle's category.


  • Status: The current status of the vehicle (active, inactive, under maintenance).


  • Seating Capacity: Maximum number of passengers the vehicle can accommodate.




  • Color, Brand/Make, Model: Vehicle specifics.



  • Current Odometer Reading and Unit: Distance covered by the vehicle.

  • Fuel Type: The type of fuel the vehicle uses. 





            Registration & Ownership

  • Registration Number, Date, and Termination Date: Vehicle registration details.

  • Registration State/Province: The location where the vehicle is registered.

  • Ownership Type: Whether the vehicle is owned by an individual, company, or government.

  • Registration Documents: Option to upload documents.


            



            Vehicle Features

  • Available Features: Predefined list of features to choose from.

  • Custom Feature: Option to add non-listed features.

  • Operator: Assign an operator from a dropdown menu.



   

    

            Insurance & Warranty

  • Insurance Policy Number and Validity: Insurance details.

  • Warranty Validity: Warranty expiration date.

  • Insurance Documents: Option to upload documents.


            


Users finalize the addition by clicking the save button, with a cancel option also available.
